Media Advisory: CLC Celebrates International Women's Day/Will Launch Web-Based Game About Women's Work


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 6, 2012) - The Canadian Labour Congress will host an Ottawa reception on Tuesday, March 6th to celebrate International Women's Day. On the same day the CLC will use its website to launch Work it!, a web-based video game dealing with the challenges women face in balancing work and family life.

The game will send a message about these challenges, but also about how unions can make working life better and more balanced for women.

Food and refreshments will be served at the reception. Journalists are welcome and Barbara Byers, CLC Executive Vice-President, will be available for comment to the media.
