Media Advisory: CMA President to Speak Saturday at the Alberta Medical Association's 100th Annual Meeting

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 29, 2005) - Canadian Medical Association (CMA) President, Dr. Ruth Collins-Nakai, will address members of the Alberta Medical Association at its 100th Annual Meeting this Saturday in Banff.

Dr. Collins-Nakai will speak about what the CMA sees as governments' last chance to save the current health care system, or be forced to accept a new health care reality. She will also stress that the biggest issue facing the health care system today is timely access to quality care.
