Media Advisory: CMA President Will Speak at Canadian Club of Ottawa, Wednesday March 22 in Ottawa

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 21, 2006) - Canadian Medical Association (CMA) President, Dr. Ruth Collins-Nakai, will be the luncheon speaker at the Canadian Club of Ottawa on Wednesday, March 22 at the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa.

In her speech titled "Toward A Health System Built To Last: The Need For National Leadership", she will offer a principled-based framework to guide the emerging debate on the appropriate mix between public and private health services. She will also release the results of an Ipsos-Reid survey that asked Canadian to rank these principles and gauged their reactions to them.
