Media Advisory/CMA: Time's Up! Wait Time Alliance Provides Progress Report on Wait Times

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 18, 2007) - On April 19, 2007, the Wait Time Alliance (WTA) will release its spring Report Card and report on progress by governments on achieving wait time benchmarks and implementing commitments made in the 2004 First Ministers' 10-Year Plan to Strengthen Health Care. The WTA will unveil and provide details on the report and the report card findings at a technical media briefing via teleconference at 10:00 am.

Also on April 19, Canadian Medical Association President, Dr. Colin McMillan will highlight key findings of the Report Card - and important next steps - in a luncheon address to the National Press Club.
