Media Advisory: Community Living Staff-Working to Inspire Possibilities

CUPE 4370 holds meeting to update community members and allies on negotiations

SARNIA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 24, 2012) - Community Living Sarnia-Lambton employees, members of Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 4370, will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, May 2 to update parents, community members and allies on negotiations.

"As a last attempt at reaching an agreement, we have mediation scheduled for May 15 and 16. We want those who use the service or who may be affected by a labour dispute to know the union's position and what issues are on the table," said Brian Humphrey, CUPE National Representative. "We also want families to understand how detrimental a labour dispute would be to the individuals we support should services be disrupted," concluded Humphrey.
