Media Advisory: CUPE 3902 to Hold Press Conference Tomorrow with Students and Faculty Groups

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 25, 2015) - Leaders from Unit 1, Local 3902 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 3902-1), which represents over 6,000 striking education workers at the University of Toronto, will host a Press Conference tomorrow morning at the Union's strike headquarters.

The CUPE leaders will be joined by representatives of several student and faculty groups active on campus.

The press conference will provide media with an update of the current state of bargaining between the Union and U of T.

The range of the University of Toronto constituencies will be represented by:

  • The University of Toronto Faculty Association

  • The University of Toronto Students' Union

  • The Arts & Science Student Union

  • The Association of Part-Time Undergraduate Students

  • The Graduate Students' Union
