Media Advisory: CUPE Nova Scotia to hold 50th Anniversary Convention in Wolfville

WOLFVILLE, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - April 22, 2013) - CUPE Nova Scotia will hold its 50th Anniversary Convention in Wolfville from April 28 to May 1, at the Old Orchard Inn.

The convention will address a number of issues of concern to the 18,000 CUPE members and their families in the province.

In addition, delegates will celebrate CUPE's 50th Anniversary. Media are welcome to attend and report on events.

  • April 28, 7:15 pm - Day of Mourning ceremony for workers killed or injured on the job
  • April 28, 7:30 pm - Nova Scotia Federation of Labour President Rick Clarke
