Media Advisory: CUPE Nova Scotia to hold 51st Anniversary Convention in Western Shore

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - April 25, 2014) - CUPE Nova Scotia will hold its 51st Convention in Western Shore from April 27 to May 30, at the Oak Island Resort and Conference Centre.

The convention will address a number of issues of concern to the 18,000 CUPE members and their families in the province, including Bill 37, federal cuts to EI programs, violence in the workplace, reform of the Canada Pension Plan and more.
