Media Advisory: CUPE to make donation to Perth-Andover flood relief efforts

PERTH-ANDOVER, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwire - April 18, 2012) - Representatives from Canada's largest union will be making a donation in support of those affected by this spring's flooding in the Village of Perth-Andover. CUPE New Brunswick division President Daniel Légère will be making the $2000 donation to the Perth-Andover Flood Relief Committee on behalf of over 30,000 CUPE members from across the province.

Media are invited to attend the presentation tomorrow, being held in front of Hôtel-Dieu Saint Joseph Hospital, one of the many public buildings damaged by the flood. There will be a photo-opportunity, and representatives from CUPE and the Flood Relief Committee will be available for interviews.
