Media Advisory-DND: British Columbia Employers to Receive Awards for Support to the Reserve Force

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 4, 2009) - Eight organizations will receive awards for their support to Canada's Reserve Force, Friday, March 6, 2009. Organized by the Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC), the ceremony will be attended by Mr. Scott Shepherd, Provincial Chair for CFLC.

Where: Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Armoury, 1650 Burrard St,
Vancouver, BC

When: Friday, March 6, 2009 at 2:30 p.m.
(Media are asked to arrive between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and
present themselves to Commander King Wan.)

What: The Canadian Forces Liaison Council will present provincial awards
to British Columbia employers who have been supportive of the
Reserve Force.

Who: Organizations receiving awards will include:

- Delta-Q Technologies Corporation
- Re-invent Incorporated
- Ladner St. Stephen's Pastoral Charge, United Church of Canada
- Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada, Local 2000
- Canada Border Services Agency

- Rakes and Ladders Landscaping
