TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 18, 2008) -

What: Fifth annual tree planting - approximately 400 native trees and
shrubs will be planted in Pine Point Park.

In addition to new plantings, the team will be taking part in the
maintenance of last year's planting and cleaning the surrounding
area of litter and debris in support of Mayor Miller's 20-minute

Why: Toronto Hydro believes that trees are a vital tool in helping to
battle climate change. Over the past few years, Toronto Hydro and
its neighbours have been supporting the vision of a revitalized
Taylor Massey Creek. For the second year, the company has focused on
Pine Point Park for further planting activities. Collectively and
including this year's planting, over 2,000 native trees and shrubs
will have been planted.

Who: More than 250 employees, friends and family of Toronto Hydro
Corporation, City of Toronto and LEAF (Local Enhancement &
Appreciation of Forests) will be present.

When: Sunday, April 20, 2008
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Pine Point Park - 15 Grierson Road, Etobicoke
(Main intersection: N/E Highway 401 and Islington Ave.)
