In the wake of the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history, Faithful Central Bible Church will host a memorial service in honor of the victims of the Orlando massacre. The memorial service will take place on Sunday, June 19th, at all three of Faithful Central's worship services. Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer, Faithful Central's senior pastor-teacher, will pray for those who were killed and wounded, their families and friends, as well as the people and leaders of Orlando, presenting a candle and commemorative photo of each victim. Included in the memorial will be a prayer for the family of the 2-year-old boy who died in an alligator attack, as well as the young singer who died after a concert.

"It appears that the community of Orlando has undergone tragedy after tragedy in such a short time. Faithful Central wants them to know that a community of faith from Los Angeles stands with them," said Bishop Ulmer. "In times like these, we must cross the barriers that separate us and stand in solidarity, compassion and concern for those who suffer from the trauma of ungodly terrorist activity and the grief and sorrow of circumstantial tragedy."

Faithful Central's memorial service adds to the national community of support, compassion and concern for the victims, their families and loved ones. Together, as one community, we honor the lives tragically lost and pray for the healing of Orlando.
