Media Advisory: Federal and Provincial Governments to Announce Funding to Revitalize Nova Scotia Orchards and Vineyards

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 28, 2008) - Gerald Keddy, Member of Parliament for South Shore-St. Margaret's and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, on behalf of the Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, and Nova Scotia Minister of Natural Resources David Morse, on behalf of Brooke Taylor, Nova Scotia Minister of Agriculture, will be in Kentville at the Atlantic Food and Horticulture Research Centre on February 29, to announce federal funding to help Nova Scotia's tree fruit and grape industries.


Following the announcement, Mr. Keddy and Mr. Morse will be available to speak to media.
