Media Advisory: Feds Listen to Local Community Leaders as Canada's Economic Action Plan Moves to Next Phase

LONDON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 20, 2011) - The Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, John Baird, and Ed Holder, Member of Parliament for London West, will host a roundtable with community leaders from London, ON to discuss Canadians' economic priorities, and how the Government of Canada can continue to strengthen Canada's economy and the economy of Southwestern Ontario.

The meeting is open to previously invited attendees only. However, interested media may attend a brief photo opportunity at the start of the session.

After this roundtable, the Government House Leader, MP Holder and the President & CEO of the London International Airport, Steve Baker, invite members of the media to tour the recently completed air cargo facility at London International Airport. This project received $8 million in federal support as part of Canada's Economic Action Plan.

The tour consists of another photo opportunity for media. An informal media availability (scrum) will follow.
