Ottawa Senators Owner to Host More Than 100 Children at Scotiabank Place

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 19, 2008) - For the fifth consecutive year, Eugene Melnyk and his family will host more than 100 children, as selected by Child and Youth Friendly Ottawa (CAYFO), at Scotiabank Place on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The Melnyks, along with Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Max Keeping, Spartacat, and members of the Ottawa Senators alumni, will present each participant with early Christmas presents, including a Senators jersey, a helmet, and a brand new pair of skates (all donated by the Melnyk family. This year, in celebration of the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship, the Melnyks are also donating four game tickets to each child and their family.
