Media Advisory: Flux Factory Announces Webinar With Brian Ringley, Global Design Specialist, Woods Bagot, Thursday, May 26

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - May 24, 2016) - Flux Factory, a technology company born out of GoogleX that aims to bring scalability, sustainability and efficiency improvements to the global building industry, is pleased to announce a webinar on the use of their newest tool, an interoperability plugin to Revit that allows an even greater number of designers to exchange critical project data across different design platforms. The webinar, organized by Arpan Bakshi of Performance.Network, will feature Brian Ringley, Global Design Specialist at Woods Bagot, on Thursday, May 26th. Performance.Network hosts webinars on building performance topics including data visualizations, modeling analysis and case studies.

In this webinar Ringley will demonstrate how the Revit plugin works, and will delve into the inner workings of Flux's web-based visual programming application called the "Flow" where he will parse JSON representations of Revit elements in order to extract family parameters for use downstream in Grasshopper. Data from Grasshopper will then be sent back to Revit using Flux's existing plugin for Dynamo to complete the round trip. To register for the webinar visit:
