Media Advisory: Fraser Institute to Hold News Conference March 4 Announcing New Research Centre for Mining

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 3, 2008) - The Fraser Institute will hold a news conference on Tuesday, March 4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to announce the formation of its new Global Centre for Mining Studies.

The news conference is being held in conjunction with the annual Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada conference.

Speakers at the event include Mark Mullins, Fraser Institute executive director, Allan Gotlieb, chairman of the Aurea Foundation, and Fred McMahon, Fraser Institute director of globalization studies.
