Media Advisory: Fraser Institute to Release Report Card on Aboriginal Education in BC, Thursday, March 31

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 30, 2011) - The Fraser Institute will release its Report Card on Aboriginal Education in British Columbia 2011 on Thursday, March 31 at 6:30 a.m. (Pacific).

The report card allows anyone to quickly and easily compare 52 BC elementary and 63 secondary schools based on six key indicators of aboriginal student performance, including average provincewide exam results in multiple subject areas and graduation rates provided by the BC Ministry of Education.

The report card displays individual school results for the past five years, indicating whether a school has improved or declined in terms the academic performance of aboriginal students over time.
