Media Advisory: Fraser Institute to Release Results of Poll on BC Parents' Opinion of School Rankings and FSA

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 17, 2008) - The Fraser Institute will release the results of a new poll gauging the opinions of BC parents about the education ministry's Foundation Skills Assessment (FSA) and the use of the results in school rankings at a news conference today at 10 am at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

The poll was conducted on behalf of the Institute by public opinion research firm Compas Inc. Public Opinion and Customer Research.

Peter Cowley, Fraser Institute director of school performance studies and Compas Inc. president Dr. Conrad Winn, will present the results of the poll and be available for media interviews.
