MEDIA ADVISORY - Fraser Institute's Annual Alberta Elementary School Rankings Coming Saturday, May 21

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - May 20, 2016) -  The Fraser Institute's Report Card on Alberta's Elementary Schools 2016, the go-to source for measuring school improvement, will be released Saturday, May 21.

The report card provides parents with information they can't easily get anywhere else. In addition to five years of academic results, the report card shows which Alberta elementary schools have improved, or fallen behind, based on seven performance indicators derived from provincewide test results.

A news release with additional information will be issued via Marketwired on Saturday, May 21 at 5:30 a.m. (Mountain).

The complete results for 812 elementary schools will also be available at www.compareschoolrankings.org where visitors can compare schools over a five year period.

Peter Cowley, co-author of the report card, will be in Calgary and available for media interviews on Saturday May 21 and Sunday May 22.
