Media Advisory: Fraser Institute's Annual B.C. Elementary School Rankings Coming Monday, May 4

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 1, 2015) - On Monday, May 4, the Fraser Institute will release its Report Card on British Columbia's Elementary Schools 2015.

The anticipated annual release ranks public and independent elementary schools based on 10 academic indicators using data from the annual Foundation Skills Assessments (FSAs) administered by the B.C. Ministry of Education.

The report card provides parents with information they can't easily get anywhere else: In addition to five years of academic results, it indicates which schools are improving and which schools are falling behind.

A news release with additional information will be issued via Marketwired on Monday, May 4 at 6:30 a.m. (PST).

The complete results of all ranked schools will also be available at www.compareschoolrankings.org.
