Media Advisory: Fraser Institute's Report Card on Ontario Elementary School Performance to Be Released Sunday, March 1

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 27, 2009) - The Fraser Institute will release its Report Card on Ontario's Elementary Schools 2009 on Sunday, March 1 at 7 a.m. (Eastern).

This annual report is a favourite among parents for analyzing relevant, publicly available data to rate and rank 2,778 of Ontario's English and French, public and Catholic, elementary schools. A small number of private schools are also included.

A news release with additional information will be issued via Marketwire on Sunday, March 1.

The full text of the Report Card including detailed results for all the schools will be available for download as a free PDF on our web site at www.fraserinstitute.org.

Peter Cowley, Director of School Performance Studies for The Fraser Institute and author of the report card will be in Toronto and available to provide comment to the media on Sunday, March 1 and Monday, March 2.
