Media Advisory: Free Flying Capture for Canadarm2

LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Sept. 15, 2009) - This week, Canadarm2 will do its first capture of the Japanese automated vehicle, the HTV (H-II Transfer Vehicle). Media representatives are invited to a technical briefing where Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Chris Hadfield will explain the role of Canadarm2 and Robert Thirsk during this space catch. The information session will be followed by interviews and live NASA TV viewing of the free flying capture.
