CariDee English reaches out to Canadian psoriasis sufferers

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 12, 2008) - Cursed. This is the word America's Next Top Model CariDee English used to describe living with psoriasis, an immune system disease characterized by red, inflamed patches of skin and silvery white scales covering 70% of her body.

CariDee dreamed of acting and modeling her entire life, but when she was diagnosed with psoriasis, she met an impassable roadblock. CariDee found the disease was still visible during modeling shoots. Despite her best efforts, her dream was shattered.
