MEDIA ADVISORY: Front line workers at SPRINT Senior Care rally for the future of clients and staff

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 24, 2014) - To express their need and determination for a workplace pension plan, front line workers of SPRINT Senior Care will rally at the agency's Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, June 25, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at 1929 Bayview Avenue (CNIB National Office).

SPRINT Senior Care provides pension benefits for its managers and directors, but none for the personal support workers, drivers, social workers and others who are committed to serving seniors living independently in their homes.

Front line workers will urge members of SPRINT's board of directors and senior management to protect continuity of care for clients and their own employees' senior years by providing a pension plan for its unionized workers.
