Media Advisory: Giant Tiger Offers a Helping Hand to Underprivileged Children in the Ottawa Area and Challenges Everyone to Do the Same

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 27, 2011) - In the early afternoon of Friday, October 28, 2011, Giant Tiger will be pulling up one of its trailers to The Snowsuit Fund depot located at 225 Donald Street in Ottawa with a much needed surprise. The Giant Tiger team will be dropping off 576 snowsuits valued at over $36,000 to help replenish stock in preparation of the cold weather months quickly approaching.

Everyone must do what they can to help organizations such as The Snowsuit Fund make sure children from underprivileged families are provided for."

During the 2010/2011 season, The Snowsuit Fund distributed over 15,000 new snowsuits and has been keeping children warm for 30 years.
