Media Advisory: Government of Canada to Announce Funding for Innovation and Organic Projects in Atlantic Canada

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 1, 2007) - Gerald Keddy, Member of Parliament for South Shore-St. Margaret's and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, on behalf of the Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Truro on Monday, December 3, to announce funding for a pilot project looking at technology to extract high-value ingredients from crops, as well as for two organic projects under the Advancing Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food (ACAAF) program.
