Media Advisory: Government of Canada to Announce Investment for Research in Next-Generation Clean Technologies


KINGSTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 7, 2016) - The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will make a national funding announcement for ground-breaking research to develop next-generation clean technologies while at Queen's University. She will be joined by Dr. B. Mario Pinto, President of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.

Before the announcement at Queen's University, Minister Duncan and Dr. Pinto will join university representatives for a tour of laboratory facilities. Members of the media are invited to attend. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in at the reception desk.
