Media Advisory: Government of Canada Consults Stakeholders in Quebec City on Plan to Strengthen Financial Literacy of Seniors


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 23, 2014) - Minister of State (Seniors) Alice Wong and Canada's Financial Literacy Leader Jane Rooney will be available to the media following stakeholder consultations in Quebec City on a proposed blueprint to strengthen the financial literacy of seniors. Current and near seniors are the focus of the first phase of work in the development of Canada's national strategy for financial literacy.

The media availability will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Univeristé Laval, Pavillon Alphonse Desjardins, 2325 rue de l'Université, room 2300, in Quebec City, Quebec.
