Media Advisory: Government of Canada to Make an Important Announcement for Veterans and Their Families at 65th Anniversary of D-Day Event in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - May 29, 2009) - On behalf of The Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, Shelly Glover, Member of Parliament for Saint Boniface, will highlight aspects of an important announcement for Veterans and their families at an event commemorating the 65th Anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.
