Media Advisory: Government of Canada to Open an Operational Stress Injury Clinic in Edmonton

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 22, 2008) - The Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, along with Louise Bradley, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Capital Health's Regional Mental Health Program will be available on April 23, 2008 to speak with the media about a new operational stress injury clinic in Edmonton.

This new clinic, funded by Veterans Affairs Canada and operated by Capital Health, is part of a national network of operational stress injury clinics. It will provide services for Veterans, members of the Canadian Forces and eligible members of the RCMP, and their families, living with service-related mental health injuries. Veterans and CF members will be in attendance.
