Media Advisory: Government of Canada Announces Funding for 134 Canada Research Chairs

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Feb. 20, 2009) - On Monday, February 23, the Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State (Science and Technology) and the Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of National Revenue and Minister of State (Agriculture), will announce the most recently awarded Canada Research Chairs. The researchers named to hold these prestigious academic positions are world leaders in many vital research fields, including health, the environment and nanotechnology.
