Media Advisory: Governments of Canada and Israel Meet to Strengthen Collaboration in Technology Innovation

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 26, 2010) - The National Research Council of Canada, on behalf of the Government of Canada, will be hosting Canada-Israel Technology Innovation Summit 2010, the first of two summits between the two countries to advance collaboration in technology innovation. Some 50 participants from both nations representing industry, government, and academia will be attending.

The Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry, will be speaking at the opening reception, Sunday evening, after welcoming remarks by Paul Hunt, Canada's Ambassador to Israel, and Miriam Ziv, Ambassador of Israel to Canada.
