OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 26, 2012) - Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will attend the opening of the exhibition Spotlight on 40 Years: Artwork from the Canada Council Art Bank, on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 6:30 p.m., at the Canada Council Art Bank, located at 921 St. Laurent Boulevard, in Ottawa. The Governor General will deliver remarks on this occasion.
Spotlight on 40 Years: Artworks from the Canada Council Art Bank is an exhibition of 40 seminal art works from the collection, one representing each year from 1972 to 2012. The exhibition will be on display at the Art Bank from September 28 to 30, 2012 in conjunction with Culture Days.
