Media Advisory: Hamilton and Niagara-Area Students Learning a CA Future Has No Limits

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 17, 2011) - A select group of Hamilton-area, Niagara region and GTA high school students are getting an exclusive look into the many opportunities available in the world of business at the No Limits conference being hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario on May 19. Approximately 130 students, nominated by their schools for their leadership skills and interest in university business programs, will be attending this daylong session. This is one of just four No Limits conferences being held during the 2010-11 school year.

The No Limits conference brings Chartered Accountants from Hamilton, Niagara and the GTA's top businesses together with students most likely to be tomorrow's successful business professionals. During No Limits, the students will get the chance to meet CAs and discuss the many opportunities that open up for people who achieve the prestigious CA designation.

Among the day's highlights will be a presentation by Carolyn Smith-Green, CA, the Chief Financial Officer at Variety Village, an organization providing integrated sports and life skills programs, applied research and learning programs that change children's lives and strengthen communities. She'll be joined by CA role models from diverse employers including accounting firms, Walmart Canada, Tim Hortons, McMaster University and other organizations.
