OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 27, 2012) - Hassan Yussuff, Secretary-Treasurer of the Canadian Labour Congress, will attend Labour Day events in Vancouver and Abbotsford on Monday, September 3. They are sponsored by the Vancouver and District Labour Council, the New Westminster and District Labour Council, and the Fraser Valley Labour Council. Yussuff will be available for comments to the media.

Canadian workers have celebrated their achievements on this day since it was declared a national holiday in 1894. The focus this year is on the Union Advantage - how unions stand up for fairness on behalf of their members and all Canadians.
