Media Advisory: Holograms Will Raise Awareness About Dangers of Asbestos with West Edmonton Mall Shoppers this Weekend


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 8, 2016) - Canada's unions will be using holograms at the West Edmonton Mall on Saturday to help draw attention to the dangers of asbestos.

The exhibit will use captivating imagery projected with holographic technology to draw in passers-by and raise awareness about asbestos - the number one cause of work-related death in Canada - and the need for a comprehensive ban.

Experts, stakeholders, family members, and labour leaders will be available to speak to media between 11:00 a.m. and noon, and the holograms will run from when the mall opens at 10:00 a.m. until it closes at 9:00 p.m.
