TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 7, 2012) - The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, the largest union at Air Canada, will hold a news conference this afternoon to address the strike notice given to the company late Tuesday afternoon. The notice came at the end of bargaining when it became evident that the company was not prepared to make adjustments needed to produce a satisfactory agreement for our membership.
