Report shows eBay threatens endangered species

WHAT: A press conference to announce results of a six-week
investigation by the International Fund for Animal Welfare
(IFAW) which tracked more than 7,000 wildlife product
listings on 183 websites in 11 countries, and found eBay
Inc. responsible for 63% of the online trade in endangered
species. Elephant ivory dominated the investigation and
comprised 73% of all products tracked.
