Media Advisory: Inauguration of the first elevator at Saint-Joseph's Oratory

The project comes to life after a 90-year wait

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 12, 2007) - Media representatives are invited to a press meeting for the inauguration of the new Saint-Joseph's Oratory elevator.

It will link the Votive Chapel, the Salle des pas perdus and the level where the heart of Brother Andre is kept. Its access point, at the Votive Chapel on the Crypt level, follows the Mount-Royal rocky face for several meters and offers a unique view of ten meters of this internal cliff.
