OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 19, 2013) - The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of Industry, will lead the Canadian delegation at the 2013 BIO International Convention in Chicago, Illinois. He will promote Canada's dynamic biotech companies and discuss how Economic Action Plan 2013 helps them expand, innovate and create jobs for Canadians.
The Minister will officially open the Canada Café Pavilion at BIO. The world's largest biotechnology conference and trade show, BIO is attended by biotechnology and pharmaceutical executives, scientific leaders, political representatives, senior government officials and media from around the world.
