OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 9, 2011) - Members of the media are invited to attend an event to celebrate the successful completion of more than 2000 projects across Ontario under the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund.

John Baird, Member of Parliament for Ottawa West-Nepean; Bob Chiarelli, Ontario Minister of Infrastructure and Member of Provincial Parliament for Ottawa West-Nepean; His Worship Jim Watson, Mayor of the City of Ottawa; and Berry Vrbanovic, President of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and Councillor for the City of Kitchener, Ontario, will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Centrepointe Theatres Expansion, an Infrastructure Stimulus Fund project. In addition, the City will celebrate the commissioned public artwork titled 'Curtain Time' by artists Lynda Cronin and Michèle Provost.
