Media Advisory: Injured Workers Camp Overnight Near Queens Park

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 31, 2014) - People who have suffered injuries at work will be holding an overnight vigil Saturday night, May 31, until Sunday morning, June 1, 2014. The vigil is to draw attention to the plight of Ontarians who are injured on the job, and to protest WSIB cuts. It is organized as part of the annual Injured Worker's Day rally on June 1, 2014, at Queens Park.

WHAT: Injured Workers Overnight Vigil, followed by a Rally at Queens Park

WHEN: Vigil begins on Saturday, May 31 at 7:00 pm, and continues until the commencement of the Injured Workers Day Rally at 11:00 am Sunday, June 1, 2014

WHO: People injured on the job, and their supporters

WHERE: Corner of College and University, Queens Park
