On February 19, 2013, Bullfrog Power and The International Centre will introduce Canada's largest bullfrogpowered kitchen, using 354 megawatts per year of green electricity and 1,298 gigajoules of green natural gas, equivalent to over 300 natural gas-powered household stovetops. This is a first for the foodservices and hospitality industry in Canada. Bullfrog Power Vice President Jo Coombe, The International Centre CEO Michael Prescott, Director of Operations and Sustainability Trevor Lui, and Executive Chef Tawfik Shehata will be available to answer questions about the partnership and facilities.

Media are invited to a behind-the-scenes tour and tasting experience of locally sourced foods in The International Centre's state-of-the-art kitchen with world-renowned Executive Chef Tawfik Shehata. Chef Shehata brings nearly 20 years of professional culinary experience to the table and has worked at many of the world's finest establishments including Winston's, Scaramouche, Auberge du Pommier, Taboo and Truffles at The Four Seasons.
