Pizza Chain Prepares for One of Its Busiest Days of the Year This Halloween

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 31, 2011) - Preparations are under way at Pizza 73 locations across Western Canada as restaurant employees get ready to welcome ghouls, goblins and witches on one of the busiest day of the year for the pizza chain. Each Halloween, families and party-goers opt for the convenience of hot and fresh pizzas, crispy chicken wings and other menu items from Pizza 73, the Halloween headquarters, whether it's dinner before a night out or a late snack after some trick-or-treating.

Pizza 73 is expecting to double its sales on Halloween Monday, making it one of the busiest days of the year along with New Year's Eve and Super Bowl Sunday. The company expects to see an increase in walk-in customers, as well as orders by phone, online and through its new iPhone app, specifically between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., just before the creatures come out at night.

Pizza 73 will be opening early at 3:00pm to welcome the Halloween rush.
