FORT ERIE, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 17, 2016) - Library workers in Fort Erie, members of Local 2023 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 2023) are extending a cordial invitation to the public to join them today for a celebration of Ontario Public Library Week.

From 12 noon to 2 p.m., CUPE 2023 members will be handing out postcards, buttons and candy to patrons and the public at the Centennial and Crystal Ridge Branches to highlight the important role libraries play in enhancing quality of life for all residents, as well as the vital role library workers play in making libraries a cherished institution in the communities they serve.
