KINGSTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 17, 2016) - Library workers in Kingston and Frontenac County, members of Local 2202 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 2202), are extending a cordial invitation to the public to join them today for a celebration of Ontario Public Library Week.

Throughout the day, CUPE 2202 members will be handing out postcards, buttons and treats to patrons and the public and highlighting the important role libraries play in enhancing quality of life for all residents, as well as the vital role library workers play in making libraries a cherished institution in the communities they serve.
