Media Advisory: Jr. Economic Club Students, With Special Guest Rob Ford, Pitch Entrepreneurial Business Ideas to Bay Street's "Mega Minds"

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 29, 2014) - The Jr. Economic Club of Canada (Jr. EC), with a primary mandate to educate and inspire Canadian youth to become financially literate, celebrates the culmination of "Bay Street Boot Camp," a five-day financial literacy course that brings 40 students from across Ontario into to the heart of the financial district.

WHAT: Students will pitch their businesses to a panel of expert "Mega Minds" in a "Dragons Den"-style format. The Mega Minds will probe the ideas further and select the winner of the 2014 Bay Street Boot Camp Entrepreneurial Challenge. Mayor Rob Ford will make a special appearance and say a few words about the importance of financial literacy.
