BARCELONA, SPAIN--(Marketwire - Feb 21, 2013) - Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR), the industry leader in network innovation, today announced the details of its participation at Mobile World Congress 2013, the world's leading mobile telecommunications event.
Juniper Networks will discuss its recently-announced accelerated four-step roadmap to software-defined networks (SDN), along with new products announced earlier this week that enable customers to execute critical steps to SDN and realize tangible benefits immediately. Leveraging the principles of SDN, mobile service providers can achieve elastic capacity and increased service velocity while lowering overall capital and operating expenses.
At the event Juniper will also focus on the advancement of LTE adoption through its industry-leading security solutions. The new Juniper Networks® SRX5000 Services Gateway line cards were introduced by Juniper this week as the next step for mobile operators to secure their LTE infrastructure. The new line cards empower mobile operators with the industry's only high-end security solutions that offer zero downtime, the performance to scale with exponential growth in bandwidth, and the ability to provide protection for confidential, sensitive and compliant data in a mobile environment.
