Media Advisory: Kelowna Rededicates its Cenotaph and Marks the 90th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - April 20, 2007) - To honour the legacy of the 600,000 brave Canadians who served in the First World War and all those who served our country in the past and who continue to serve proudly in uniform today, an event is taking place in Kelowna on April 21, 2007. The event will mark the 90th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge and will rededicate the newly upgraded Kelowna City Park Cenotaph.



Date: Saturday, April 21, 2007

Time: Parade - 1:45 p.m.
Ceremony - 2:00 p.m.

Location: On the grounds of Kelowna City Park, 1315 Water Street,
Kelowna, BC.
